First of all, I added another item to the shop! This one is called Lava Stone. I am trying to step away from the gothic and sometimes morbid colours and slowly turn towards the more festive ones as Valentine’s day is approaching. I also managed to do a little sample dye patch for the Rainbows End Farm. In the knitting world, I finished two projects. First a cowl for my boyfriend's sister in 100% merino wool (commercial, I did not spin this one, sorry). You can find the Free Pattern on Ravelry. I added a little gold cat pin for embellishment. Hopefully, the gold cat pin will be in stock for my shop soon. Second, I finished the shawl I was working one last week. The pattern is also free and can be found here. I also managed to spin two skeins this week (mostly the weekend). First, is this gradient yarn from a cheviot sheep. I will try to post a breed study sometime this week. The other skein is a super soft bulky yarn from a polwarth sheep. I was surprised by the softness of this fiber, since it had very long staple lengths. I'll try to finish dyeing it and do a breed study next week. ...and that's all folks! Hopefully work will be less stressful in the upcoming week, and I can do more in-depth posts about fiber!
